Aluminium Production Wastes Managements

The ability to effectively treatment waste materials coming both from primary and secondary aluminium is growing in importance. Prior and current experiences with secondary aluminium salt slag have allowed Engitec to update the STE process both in terms of technical and of environmental performances. We recently started looking at primary aluminium production wastes were the problems are quite different from the secondary industry and the solutions proposed until now have not found great success. In this paper we will describe the new Engitec approach to these wastes.
